Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Engagement Manager to join the Spark Team. In this role your responsibility is to help achieve our sales targets by developing new business opportunities. Working together with the head of sales and the regional sales team of the Creative Dock Group as well as the Spark Works consulting team, you will establish and maintain relationships with various types of clients and partners, develop and pitch proposals and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to listen and communicate well and multi-task under tight deadlines. Experience in business development and a wide network in the DACH region is an asset in this position. If you’re a team player and a problem-solver, we’d like to meet you.
Main tasks
→ Foster strong, profitable and enduring relationships with prospect and existing customers as their primary point of contact
→ Work with private and public sector clients to understand their needs and build and deliver convincing offers and project pitches
→ Collaborate with the consulting team to implement services and plan projects effectively
→ Report biz development activities to CD head of sales and SW managing partner and align with larger sales team for strategic focus
→ Document client leads in our CRM tool
→ Work with marketing team to increase the visibility of the company
→ Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the Creative Dock group
QUALIFICATIONS
→ Proven work experience (5+ yrs) with a biz development role (in a consultancy, agency, startup or corporate)
→ Min. Bachelor or preferably Master (or instead 5 yrs of relevant work experience) in Economics, Business, Innovation Management, Design or other related fields
→ Fundamental understanding of innovation methodology (HCD, Design Thinking, Design Sprint, Agile, Lean Management, etc.)
→ Existing network in DACH region is a plus
→ Sharp business acumen
→ Ability to quickly grasp and present complex topics
→ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English and German
→ And last but not least, you are passionate, proactive (bring in ideas & initiatives), flexible, action-oriented and autonomous
